Furniture scale is the size of a piece relative to the room. The shrinking mistake is a sofa or bed that is too big, leaving narrow walkways and little visible wall. The fix is keeping walkways at least 60-90 cm and choosing legged furniture so more floor shows.

Both crowd a room. A three-seat sofa is often too big for a condo living room; pick a two-seater or compact model. Many small pieces scatter the eye; consolidate into fewer larger ones instead.
How to check scale before buying
Never buy from a web photo alone. Measure the real space and mock it up first.

- Keep main paths 90 cm, secondary paths 60 cm
- Choose a coffee table close to seat height, not too low
