Listing Photos vs Staging: Which Matters More
No camera saves a cluttered room; here is why staging always comes before the shutter.

Between listing photography and staging, staging matters more, because the camera only records what is there. A cluttered or empty room will not sell even shot on an expensive camera. Good staging creates something worth photographing, while photography presents it at its best. Both belong together, in that order.
Staging decides what there is to photograph
Great photography can only work with what is in the room. An empty unit looks cold and hard to scale; a cluttered one looks small and chaotic. Staging fixes both by adding life and showing each area's function before the camera does anything.

Can I just shoot an empty unit if I am in a hurry to sell?
You can, but results are usually weaker. An empty unit makes buyers struggle to judge scale and use and feel less connected. Even light staging with a few pieces, such as a bed, sofa, and key decor, greatly improves the photos in little time.
