King Square Residence

A two-part commission — a marble-and-glass sale gallery and a garden-facing three-bedroom show unit — styled to carry guests from first impression through to the feeling of home.

The sale gallery opens in double-height glazing, black steel mullions framing the garden and the KINGSQUARE mark etched across the glass. Grey-veined marble anchors the reception desks, where white orchids rise from slender glass vessels beside a softly lit table lamp. Bouclé tub chairs gather at a small marble table by the windows, and a blue relief artwork lifts the passage through to the residences.

Inside the three-bedroom show unit, herringbone oak runs beneath a brown leather sectional and a wall of glass that dissolves into planting. A book-matched marble feature wall carries through to an open kitchen, where a pale stone island meets black bar stools. The dining table is dressed in gold-rimmed china, white orchids and a single candle, and a sheltered terrace steps out to lanterns and green.

Each bedroom takes a different register — an ombré-blue panelled wall and a rust throw in the principal room, a monochrome artwork against dark timber next door, a sketch-mural headboard and pale linens in the last. A mirrored walk-in wardrobe holds the suite together in warm timber and low light. Throughout, the styling stays calm and collected: marble, brass, oak and the recurring white of orchids.
