Royal Maneeya Executive Residences

This is the home of Ed Ng and Terence Ngan, the founders of AB Concept — styled with the designers themselves. The living room sets the tone: walls upholstered in soft blue-grey panels, camel velvet sofas and armchairs, and a filigree mirrored screen that catches the light. Ceramic garden stools and a bronze-based glass table ground the seating, while a tripod fan-lamp and lit display niches lend a collector's ease. Every surface is textural — brushed metal, velvet, glazed ceramic — held in a restrained, tonal palette.

A study corner carries the same calm, with a timber writing desk set against a charcoal niche and pierced-lattice doors that filter the daylight. Art leads throughout: an oversized leaf motif is carved directly into the blue-grey wall, orchids rest on a round stone table, and mineral specimens and a carved elephant punctuate the corridors. The mood is quiet but never plain — each vignette rewards a second look.

Deeper in, a canopied daybed dressed in tribal-patterned textiles and turquoise cushions opens onto the Bangkok skyline, a jewel-toned counterpoint to the tonal rooms beyond. The master bathroom is bright and airy — white tile, hammered-silver basins, a marble counter and sheer roman blinds framing the city — while the dressing room stays soft with mirrored wardrobes, grey drapes and a woven pouf. Serene, layered and art-forward, the residence feels composed for slow living, high above Ploenchit.
