HONGHAUS STYLING
Open-plan living room in soft greys with linen sofa, tubular opaline pendant, dining table and floor-to-ceiling windows framing the Bangkok skyline

28 Chidlom

A high-floor Chidlom show unit styled in warm neutrals, where skyline light, textured art and considered table settings turn 310 square metres into a calm, gallery-like home.

Open-plan living and dining sit beneath floor-to-ceiling glazing, the city skyline held like a moving picture behind soft greige walls. Linen sofas, an oval glass coffee table and a faded patterned rug ground the room, while an olive tree and opaline pendants keep the mood warm rather than cool. Every surface is edited: nothing shouts, everything settles.

Styling here is quietly art-led. Large textured abstract canvases anchor the media wall, a cream bouclé swivel chair turns toward the view, and dark timber joinery frames curated shelves. Smaller vignettes carry the story — smoky glass vases of dried eucalyptus, stacked design books, marble chain-link objects and a single reed diffuser.

The dining room is dressed for company: a marble-topped table, woven armchairs and a row of opaline lights above cascading orchid centrepieces. Slate chargers, gold-rimmed glass bowls and slender crystal complete each place setting. In the principal bedroom, layered white linens, teal cushions and framed monochrome art repeat the same disciplined palette, with the leafy skyline just beyond the glass.
