The Reserve Sathorn
Decoration styling for the public realm of The Reserve Sathorn, where an arched marble lobby and a double-height sky lounge are dressed with sculptural glass, fresh flowers and quiet objets.
The arrival sequence sets the register. A concealed-lit black arch frames the concierge desk, where the Reserve wordmark glows against a bronze-and-glass screen and fluted crystal pendants fall in pairs. Fluted timber cabinetry, a pale marble counter and white calla lilies keep the palette calm, and a single blown-glass sculpture reads as a full stop on the stone top.
Beyond the desk, grey-veined marble and slim brass reveals carry the eye through a run of lounges. Cane-backed armchairs and a low daybed tuck into a glossy black arch that looks onto a courtyard tree and a mirror-still water garden. Every surface is styled rather than filled — a plaster urn, a black lantern, a cluster of crystal candlesticks — so the rooms feel composed, never staged.
The set piece is the double-height sky lounge, where a cascading crystal chandelier hangs inside a faceted glass pavilion and pale sofas face the Sathorn skyline. Textured cushions, coiled-glass objets and a copper sculpture against a living wall add weight and shine, while fresh orchids, hydrangea and lilies thread warmth through the greys. It is amenity space dressed with the care of a private residence.
